Olympics or Bust

Vancouver may be having it’s warmest weather in centuries (we WAY overpacked!), but come Friday we’re ready too take these Olympics by storm. Start tuning in tomorrow for daily videos and posts from your team here at O.O.B. For now… some pics posing at the new Whistler sculpture (which we SWEAR dropped from the sky as it wasnt there a few days ago… amazing what pops up around the same time the media arrives!), and the official downtown countdown clock. Tomorrow: the torch arrives in Vancouver… led by Charley’s own “faithful governer” (hmmm…)- Mr. Arnold himself. It won’t be the first time I’ve seen him run the torch- I remember watching him take it through Universal Studios back in ’02– the governator is officially a torchaholic.

Yesterday we took a tour of the Olympic venues to scope out what’s ready… and what final touches are STILL on the organizing committee’s to-do list!   Also, the Olympic torch arrived in Whistler, it’s first stop at actual competition sites.  Click below for more pictures, and a video segment coming soon!
